was founded in Temerin, Vojvodina, Serbia in 2011 by members of local alternative/punk bands active on local underground music scene from the late 90s. The group's musical world is defined as experimental rock for the lack of a suitable definition, which reflects many diverse influences. In a nutshell: openness, awareness and an underground, experimental, critical attitude is what forms the core of the group. They tagged their music with instrumental rock, post-rock, alternative, krautrock, progressive punk, experimental rock and similar tags in the past decade, and all those definitions are more or less in the right place. Testet ölt’s first two albums were released by Zagreb-based label Listen Loudest/Slušaj najglasnije, the oldest independent ex-Yugoslav label still functioning. Their third album Discontent, was put out in May 2021 by Idiotski Internat, the only active underground cassette label from Novi Sad.
